It was time to JUST DO IT!  As a single, 50-something mother of four, without a traveling companion, I decided a group tour was the best solution--Rick Steves' Heart of Italy Tour (click here)!  This was my first European trip--and the first time I got to use my passport!

Having a tour guide and a group of adventurers was perfect!  I didn't worry that I couldn't speak Italian; I felt safe and relaxed.  My biggest problem now is deciding which Rick Steves' adventure comes next!
